Opposition responds to Federal Budget Plan

On 16 February, 2024, Democratic Opposition leader Drew Tucker responded to the 2024 Ridgelantic federal budget, especially towards Ridgelantic humanitarian aid towards Ukraine. Tucker is fiercely opposed to Ridgelantic support of Ukraine through any means being a self-declared Russophile.

We will not spend a penny on Russia. We will not spend a penny on Ukraine…We will spend money on Ridgelantic defense.

Tucker and the Tukuntic government plan to write a regional budget for the autonomous government, primarily allocating money to defense and militarization. Tucker has expressed concern over Ridgelantic ocean borders along the Cawtaba river and has proposed the annexation of two islands neighboring the Cavnarian mainland.

My plan is that these two islands will not be considered a part of Cavnaria, it’ll be a colony of Ridgeland. Kawtabakolonie.
